My Y62 pulses when I brake. Is that a warped disc?
Sometimes. A pulse can come from uneven pad deposits on the disc face, from genuine runout, or from a hub that is not sitting flat, and those are different jobs. We check which one it is before fitting anything.
Do you check the brake fluid as well?
Yes, every time. Brake fluid absorbs moisture, and that changes how the pedal feels long before anything else warns you.
